A coin begins with an idea, a concept to commemorate a person, place, thing or an act. The Premier Canadian Mint does custom work based on your ideas.
Coin Design
Our expert craftsmen take your ideas, apply 70 years of minting experience to create works of art for our clients or choose from our many gold and silver coins.
Coin Development
Once our craftsmen design your coin, we proceed to traditional plasticine artwork, pantograph work and hand engraved minting dies.
Coin Deployment
Once the artwork and minting dies are completed, We are ready to test strike our coins. Only if the coin quality is satisfactory do we strike beautiful coins in Proof, BU or Frosted finishes.
